Personalizing Learning

One of the big problems with on-line courses is that people rarely finish them. Why? They're too boring.

Very often these courses replicate the lecture format we all grew up with. This is passive learning. Good instructional design calls for opportunties for learners to get feedback on their ideas and to practice their understanding of key concepts.

Two-Eyed Productions pays close attention to creating experiences that empower the learner--engage them in an individualized fashion so they learn.

”But we must not forget that while good teachers play the role of mutual friends who can provide introductions, the actual job of getting to know an idea or a person cannot be done by a third party. Everyone must acquire skill at getting to know a subject and a personal style for doing it.”

- Seymour Papert “Mindstorms”
