Writing

Two-Eyed is proud to announce the release a book by Alex Correa titled, "On the Edge: a memoir." The book tells the story of Alex's childhood growing up in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood.

Today Alex is a nationally recognized speaker, telling the the story of the abuse he suffered as a young boy and how that abuse led to his own alcohol and drug addiction and homelessness by the age of 12.

Alex was convicted of murder at the age of 14 and sentenced as an adult to prison. However, at the urging of a teacher he meets in jail, Alex turns his life around. Today he has spoken to dozens of groups, including the American Bar Association, the Supreme Court of New York and the U.S. Department of Justice.

At the right, you can read an exerpt from the book. You can also sign up for the book's mailing list to keep up with news and Alex's speaking events.
